AccuRx Scribe uses advanced speech recognition technology to generate a structured summary of your consultation. This helps clinicians focus more fully on listening to you and less on typing, while maintaining accurate clinical records.
How It Works
- The consultation is transcribed securely in real time.
- A draft clinical note is generated.
- The clinician reviews, edits and approves the note before it is saved to your medical record.
- The recording is not stored long-term and is processed in line with UK data protection standards.
AccuRx Scribe is provided by Accurx and complies with NHS information governance and data security requirements.
Your Choice – Opting Out
Your care will not be affected if you choose not to have AccuRx Scribe used during your appointment.
If you would prefer that AccuRx Scribe is not used:
- Please tell the clinician at the start of your appointment, or
- Inform our reception team in advance of your consultation.
We will always respect your decision.

AccuRx Scribe operates within strict UK data protection laws, including GDPR. The clinician remains fully responsible for your medical record, and all notes are checked before being saved.
